Moshammer GTS Pro Extensions for F56 MINI

Moshammer GTS Pro Extensions are the small addition that changes how the GTS rear spoiler sits on an F56. They carry the spoiler’s line further outboard, and because the shape was drawn against the existing part rather than adapted from something else, the result looks like the way it should always have been done. The extensions are made to complement the Moshammer GTS rear spoiler, which the company describes as the only street legal and TUV approved rear spoiler on the market for this car. They arrive in a satin matte black filled finish with mounting material included, and go on quickly using a special adhesive. Made to order in Berlin in small numbers, they are the sort of detail the other Minis at the meet will not have.

Design and Proportion

A small change at the outer edges of a rear spoiler has a disproportionate effect on how wide and planted a car looks from behind. The extensions pick up the GTS spoiler profile and carry it outward, which is why they read as original equipment rather than an add-on. Moshammer describes them as a small but very effective upgrade, and from three quarters that is exactly how they land.

Construction and Finish

The extensions are delivered in a satin matte black filled finish, so they match the base spoiler without any preparation work. Mounting material is supplied in the box. They are built to complement the Moshammer GTS rear spoiler, which the company states is the only street legal and TUV approved rear spoiler available for the car.

Installation and Bonding

Installation is quick and uses a special adhesive with the supplied mounting material. Clean and degrease the spoiler where the extensions sit, dry fit to confirm alignment, then bond them and let the adhesive cure fully. The base Moshammer GTS or GTX rear spoiler has to be on the car already, as the extensions do not fit the factory spoiler.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
