Moshammer Vented Front Fenders for F30 BMW 3 Series

Moshammer Vented Front Fenders bring a piece of touring car thinking to the F30 without disturbing its proportions. The set consists of two complete lightweight fenders with cooling openings, so heat leaves the wheel housing instead of sitting in it, and the car carries less weight ahead of the front axle where it matters most for turn-in. Your original fenders are simply unscrewed and these are screwed back on at the original points, which keeps the installation honest and reversible. Moshammer supplies article B.30.1070 unpainted, with a TUV material certificate available, ready for your body shop to finish in the car’s exact colour. Built to order in Berlin in small numbers, they are the detail that separates a considered F30 from a catalogue one.

Design and Intent

The vented fender is a motorsport idea applied with restraint here: the openings are integrated into the panel rather than cut into a standard wing, so the line still reads as BMW. On an F30 the effect is immediate from the front three quarters, particularly on cars already wearing the M Performance parts. It works with or without the M Package, which is unusual for bodywork of this kind.

Cooling and Weight

The cooling openings let hot air escape the wheel housing, which is worth having on a car used hard on road or track. The lightweight construction also removes weight from the extremities of the front end, and Moshammer describes the combination as performance through cooling openings and light construction. The set consists of two complete fenders, not covers or add-on panels.

Paint and Fitment

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
