Moshammer Turbo Side Skirt Attachments for 992 Porsche 911 Turbo & Turbo S

Moshammer Turbo Side Skirt Attachments exist for the owner whose 992 Turbo S is already close to right. Rather than replacing the factory skirts, these add on fins mount directly to the original Porsche side skirt underbody, continuing the shark fin motif from the front spoiler along the flank so the side profile reads as one drawn line instead of two separate ideas. The Sport version extends the fins of the original SportDesign front spoiler; the Pro version reaches further toward the side of the car to match the Moshammer 992 Turbo Front Spoiler Evo X Pro. Both improve airflow down the side of the car while leaving the Porsche Active Aerodynamics system and ground clearance exactly as the factory set them. Made to order in small batches in Berlin, this is the kind of restraint that separates refinement from modification.

Design Continuity

A 992 Turbo S with a finned front spoiler and a plain sill has an unfinished conversation running down its side. These attachments finish it, picking up the fin language at the front and carrying it rearward so the eye travels the length of the car without interruption. The Sport version follows the geometry of the original SportDesign spoiler, while the Pro fins are shaped to continue the more aggressive Moshammer Evo X Pro front.

Aerodynamic Function

The fins work the air travelling down the side of the car, sharpening flow along the lower body rather than letting it spill under the doors. Crucially, they achieve this without interfering with the Porsche Active Aerodynamics system or reducing ground clearance, so nothing the factory engineered is compromised in the pursuit of a better silhouette. It is an aerodynamic refinement rather than an aerodynamic argument.

Installation and Fit

The attachments mount directly onto the existing original Porsche side skirts, which means the factory bodywork stays on the car and the change can be reversed. Because they are add on pieces there is no need to remove and repaint the sills, and the full functionality of the SportDesign package is preserved. Choose the version that matches the front of your car and the two ends of the flank will finally agree with each other.

Do these replace my factory side skirts? No. They mount directly onto the original Porsche side skirt underbody, so the factory sills stay exactly where they are.
Which version should I order, Sport or Pro? Sport was designed specifically for the original SportDesign package and extends the fins of that front spoiler. Pro is precision matched to the Moshammer 992 Turbo Front Spoiler Evo X Pro and reaches further toward the side of the car.
Will they interfere with the Porsche Active Aerodynamics system? No. They mount without impacting the PAA system, so its full functionality is preserved.
Do they reduce ground clearance? No. Ground clearance is unaffected, which is one of the reasons they suit a car that is driven rather than displayed.
Can they be removed later? They are add on pieces fitted to the original skirts rather than a replacement for them, so the car can be returned to its factory silhouette without new bodywork.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
