Moshammer Turbo X-Pipe Race Exhaust for 991 Porsche 911 Turbo & Turbo S

Moshammer Turbo X-Pipe Race Exhaust is aimed at 991 Turbo and Turbo S owners who use their cars on circuit and want the exhaust to keep up. It replaces the factory equipment section with a crossover X design, saving significant weight against the original system and running much lower exhaust backpressure. Lower backpressure means lower exhaust temperatures and a freer breathing engine, and Moshammer states the gains arrive without any software changes. It is a direct bolt-on that uses the original screw points and clips and fits the original muffler sets, and mounting material is included with article P991.20.4080. This is a motorsport component for closed-course use only, made to order in Berlin in small batches.

Motorsport Intent

This section is sold for motorsport and closed-course use only, not for the road. It replaces the factory equipment section of the 991 Turbo exhaust with a crossover X design, which is the reason it belongs on a track car. Keep the original section if there is any chance the car will need to return to standard specification.

Sound and Character

The note is deep and aggressive, and on a Turbo it brings out the induction and turbo sounds owners chase in the first place. Less weight and less backpressure sharpen throttle response alongside the noise, and Moshammer notes that torque improves without a software upgrade. Exhaust temperatures drop at the same time, which is the benefit you feel on the third lap rather than the first.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
