Moshammer Forged M979GT 20 Inch for 991 Porsche 911

Moshammer Forged M979GT is drawn around a single idea: tension held under control. Straight, stretched spokes run from the center out to the outer lip in one movement, and the machined detailing is placed accurately enough to extend those lines rather than decorate them. Moshammer builds each set to order in small batches in Berlin, so the clear concavity here is cut for the 991’s arches instead of adapted from a universal profile. In gloss black with a machined front, the face shifts constantly as light travels across the spokes, bold without excess. Nothing on this wheel is decorative, which is precisely why it belongs on a 911 rather than announcing itself.

Design Language

The M979GT is built on tension rather than ornament. Straight, stretched spokes travel from the center in one uninterrupted line to the outer lip, giving the face a strong sense of direction and real depth. The machined detailing is integrated with enough accuracy to carry those lines further, which is where the wheel’s architectural character comes from.

Concavity and Presence

Clear concavity is the defining visual trait. As light moves across the spokes the form appears to move with it, dynamic in one moment and settled in the next. It is an aggressive shape without the noise that usually accompanies one, and on a 991 it reads as though the factory had simply been braver.

Built to Order

Each wheel is forged as a monoblock and finished in gloss black with a machined front, with diameter, width and offset chosen for the individual car. Standard sizing runs 20 x 9 at the front and 20 x 12 at the rear, and a 21 inch staggered package is built on request. Because production happens in small batches, no two orders need to be identical.

Is the price for a full set of wheels? Yes. The M979GT is sold and priced as a complete staggered set of four, two fronts and two rears, and it is not offered as a single wheel.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
