Moshammer RS Fender Louvers answer the question every 992 owner eventually asks: how do you get the purposeful look and the cooling logic of a GT3 RS without the extremely wide fenders that only the RS wears? Moshammer develops in Berlin to an OEM+ brief, made to order in small batches, and these louvers sit in the fender line as though they had always belonged there. The ventilation openings let heated brake air and the high pressure air trapped inside the wheel arch escape, which reduces lift on the front axle, sharpens aerodynamic balance and supports more consistent braking under heavy thermal load. RS Inspired Design

The louvers take their cue from the vented fenders of the GT3 RS, where the openings exist because the engineers needed them rather than because the stylists wanted them. Moshammer has translated that idea onto a fender that is not RS width, which is the whole trick: the visual language arrives without the bodywork that normally carries it. Seen from the front three quarter the louvers break up the long expanse of the 992 fender and give the car a motorsport seriousness it wears very comfortably.

Aerodynamic Function

Air entering the wheel arch has nowhere to go on a standard car, so pressure builds and heat from the brakes stays where it does the least good. The ventilation openings give both an exit, releasing hot brake air and relieving high pressure inside the arch, which reduces lift on the front axle and improves aerodynamic balance front to rear. The practical result is a calmer front end at speed and braking that holds up better when it is being asked repeatedly for everything it has.

Installation and Finish

The louvers bond to the fender with a special adhesive and can be fitted purely as a visual enhancement, or fully integrated by precisely opening the air outlets behind them so the vents actually flow. Integrated hexagon aluminium mesh protects each opening and finishes the detail to a standard that matches the rest of the car. They are delivered unpainted in satin black, ready for your painter, or in gloss carbon for owners already committed to that direction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the fenders have to be cut? Not necessarily. The louvers can be bonded on as a visual enhancement with the fender left intact, or the air outlets behind them can be precisely opened so the vents flow, which is what delivers the full aerodynamic and brake cooling benefit.
How do they attach? With a special adhesive, following the position given in the instructions. Nothing structural is welded or replaced.
What is the difference between unpainted and gloss carbon? The unpainted version is delivered in satin black, ready for your painter to match it to the body or finish it as a contrast. The gloss carbon version arrives finished and needs no paint work.
Will these fit a Carrera as well as a Turbo S? Yes. They are compatible with all Porsche 992 Carrera, T, S, 4S, GTS, S/T, GT3 and Turbo S models in Coupe, Cabriolet and Targa form.
Are they worth fitting to a car that never sees a track? Yes. Hard road driving in warm weather loads the front brakes more than most owners realise, and the vents give that heat a path out. Many owners also choose them for the RS detail alone, which on a car like this is a perfectly good reason.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
