Each shock carries its own proprietary proportional solenoid valve, giving the DCU independent damping control at every corner at the same time. The system reads g-load, vehicle speed, road surface, and driver input simultaneously, adjusting damping every six milliseconds, well inside the 100 to 150 milliseconds a human eye takes to complete a single blink. That speed means the suspension is responding to the road as it happens rather than catching up a moment later.

elec-TRON DCU (Damper Control Unit)

Pairing this kit with the DCU is what makes the elec-TRON system semi-active instead of just passive. The unit continuously reads what the car is doing under braking, cornering, and acceleration, then uses that to position each elec-TRON valve on its own, recalculating all four corners roughly every 5 milliseconds. Rather than settling on one damping rate and staying there, the suspension keeps adjusting itself for grip and comfort the entire time the car is moving.
