Does the ADRO Prepreg Carbon Spoiler fit a GR Yaris with the Aero Performance Package?

No. ADRO lists the Prepreg Carbon Spoiler as not compatible with cars fitted with the factory Aero Performance Package, which carries its own variable rear wing. It fits Gen 1 and Gen 2 GR Yaris models built without that package.

Which GR Yaris generations does the spoiler fit?

ADRO lists the 2020 to 2023 Gen 1 GR Yaris and the 2024 and later Gen 2 GR Yaris, both under the same part number, A18A30-1501. The only exclusion ADRO gives is the factory Aero Performance Package with the variable rear wing.

How much downforce does the Prepreg Carbon Spoiler add?

ADRO quotes about 165 lbs, or 734N, of added downforce for the complete GR Yaris body kit with a minimal drag penalty. It does not give a figure for the spoiler on its own, whose role in the kit is to balance the extra grip at the front.

What is prepreg or dry carbon?

Prepreg is carbon cloth supplied with resin already impregnated at a set ratio, then cured under controlled heat and pressure. It carries less excess resin than wet carbon, which makes the finished Prepreg Carbon Spoiler lighter and more consistent in shape and finish.

What comes with the spoiler and when does it ship?

The box holds the Prepreg Carbon Spoiler, its uprights, mounting hardware and 3M tape, and ADRO publishes an installation guide. It is currently on backorder, with ADRO expecting fulfillment to begin in mid November 2026. Bulletproof Automotive can confirm the latest date before an order is placed.

Description

ADRO Prepreg Carbon Spoiler for Gen 1 and Gen 2 Toyota GR Yaris

ADRO’s Prepreg Carbon Spoiler for Gen 1 and Gen 2 Toyota GR Yaris sets a raised carbon blade on its own uprights above the tailgate, developed in CFD as the rear half of ADRO’s GR Yaris aero program. Its job is balance: the front lip, side skirts and diffuser all add grip, and the spoiler puts load on the rear axle so the car stays settled at speed instead of gaining front end alone. It is drawn in California and built in South Korea from prepreg carbon. This is the piece for an owner running, or planning, the full ADRO kit on a Gen 1 or Gen 2 car; cars with the factory Aero Performance Package and its variable rear wing are not covered.

Design and Performance

ADRO tested the complete GR Yaris body kit in CFD and quotes about 165 lbs (734N) of added downforce for the full kit with a minimal drag penalty. ADRO does not publish a separate figure for the spoiler; within the kit its role is to add rear downforce that matches the gains at the front.

Construction

Prepreg, also called dry carbon, arrives with resin already in the weave at a controlled ratio and is cured under heat and pressure. That leaves less excess resin than a wet layup, so the part is lighter and more consistent from one piece to the next, which matters on a blade carried high above the tailgate.

About ADRO

Founded in 2020, Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization (ADRO) designs aerodynamic body kits for modern performance cars. ADRO’s products are designed in California and manufactured in South Korea.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
