Supersprint’s Center Exhaust for G20 / G21 BMW 3 Series is the silenced middle of its four-cylinder system, the section that lets a 330i sound finished at motorway speed rather than loud for the sake of it. It sits between the Supersprint front pipe and rear, replacing the factory center section on the 320i and 330i sedan and Touring and on the 420i and 430i in all three 4 Series bodies. Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.
