Supersprint’s Valved Rear Exhaust for G26 / G22 / G23 BMW 420i and 430i brings a choice of two voices to the four-cylinder 4 Series: the valve closed for the commute, the valve open for the rest. Each side ends in a single 100mm tailpipe, and Supersprint registers it for the Gran Coupe, the Coupe and the Convertible with the factory exhaust valve and the particulate filter. On the Convertible in particular, where the exhaust is part of the cabin, the quiet setting earns its keep. For most owners of these cars it is the better buy than the Racing rear.

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
