3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create a highly accurate digital model. Using specialized scanners, the exact dimensions and contours of the car’s exterior are captured. This digital model serves as the foundation for the design process. ZACOE Performance’s commitment to intricate inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment demands exceptional precision at this stage, with each car typically requiring over 40 hours of scanning.

Digital Design & Testing

• After obtaining the scanned digital model, ZACOE Performance’s design team gathers for brainstorming sessions, beginning with hand-drawn sketches to outline their concepts. These initial ideas are then transferred into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the team refines and develops their boldest visions. Upon completing the draft design, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using specialized software. Advanced technology enables ZACOE Performance to deliver innovative designs with unparalleled quality and sophistication.

Prototyping

• Once the digital model is designed and tested, ZACOE Performance produces a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. Specialized equipment, such as 3D printers or CNC machines, is employed to manufacture each component. The prototype is assembled and mounted on the car to ensure a precise fit and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and necessary adjustments, ZACOE Performance creates molds for the final carbon fiber kit. The prototype is used to craft molds for each component, which are then used to produce the final product. This process combines skilled manual craftsmanship with advanced machinery, requiring meticulous attention to detail. The result is a lightweight, aerodynamic carbon fiber kit that enhances the car’s aesthetics and performance.
