The McLaren 650S Volcano Conversion Kit by Fi Exhaust (Frequency Intelligent Exhaust) is a high-performance valvetronic system crafted from premium T304 stainless steel, designed as a direct bolt-on replacement. This advanced system enhances torque and delivers a thrilling exhaust note, with an estimated horsepower increase of 5-10% in a full race setup featuring a valvetronic catback and ultra-high-flow downpipe. It includes a ceramic-coated valvetronic muffler, ceramic dual silver exhaust tips, a standard remote control system module, a carbon fiber exhaust cover, a carbon fiber deck lid, and carbon fiber rear grilles. With the valves closed, exhaust gases pass through the muffler for a quieter, refined tone, while open valves unleash a bold, dynamic sound. Mode switching, based on your McLaren’s configuration, utilizes either the factory exhaust/sport button or drive modes. Engineered with innovative muffler internals, this system ensures an exceptional driving experience.

Valve

• This technology not only regulates sound volume but also enhances the overall performance of the vehicle. Prior to its development, achieving both high horsepower and torque was a challenging contradiction in exhaust system design. This innovation enables sports cars to deliver high torque at low revs while maintaining exceptional horsepower at high rev speeds.

Full Race Version

• Ultra-high flow race downpipes eliminate restrictions caused by factory catalytic converters, significantly increasing exhaust gas flow and overall performance. These downpipes also enhance sound volume and are often recommended for use in conjunction with ECU tuning for maximum benefits.

Standard Remote Control

• The standard Remote Control system includes a control box and two remote controls, allowing users to manually open or close the exhaust valves or activate Auto Mode. Auto Mode settings must be configured directly on the control box for optimal functionality.

Ceramic Coating

• Fi EXHAUST replaces traditional thermal insulation materials, which often contain toxic substances, with a nano-ceramic coating applied directly to the exhaust pipe. This coating protects against corrosion, reduces heat exposure to sensitive engine bay components, and helps maintain lower temperatures. It extends the longevity of the exhaust system and other components prone to thermal damage, such as wiring.

• 3D Scanning: Upon finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to produce an exceptionally accurate digital model. Using a specialized scanner, the car’s exterior shape and dimensions are captured with precision. This digital model becomes the cornerstone of the design process, as ZACOE Performance integrates intricate inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment that demand meticulous accuracy. The scanning process for each vehicle typically exceeds 40 hours.
• Digital Design & Testing: With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers collaborate in brainstorming sessions, beginning the creative journey with hand-drawn sketches. These initial ideas are then transformed into detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software, allowing the team to refine their boldest concepts. Once the draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is carried out using advanced software tools. This blend of creativity and technology enables ZACOE Performance to consistently deliver sophisticated designs, exceptional quality, and innovative results.
• Prototyping: Following the completion of the digital model and its tests, ZACOE Performance produces a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. This stage involves advanced machinery such as 3D printers or CNC machines to fabricate each component. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the vehicle to ensure accurate fitment and optimal performance.
• Mold-making: After thorough testing and adjustments to the prototype, ZACOE Performance proceeds to create molds for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype serves as a template for crafting molds for each component, which are then used to manufacture the final product.
