3D Scanning

• After finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create a highly accurate digital model. Using a specialized scanner, the exact dimensions and contours of the car’s exterior are captured. This digital model becomes the foundation for the design process. Given ZACOE Performance’s focus on integrating advanced inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, achieving precision at this stage is critical. On average, the scanning process requires over 40 hours per car.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers gather for brainstorming sessions and begin crafting initial concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are digitized using computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the team refines and shapes their most ambitious ideas. Once the draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using specialized software. Technology is instrumental in enabling ZACOE Performance to deliver innovation, unmatched quality, and distinctive results.

Prototyping

• After designing and testing the digital model, ZACOE Performance transitions to creating a physical prototype of the kit using ABS materials. This step involves advanced equipment like 3D printers and CNC machines to manufacture each component. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the car to verify fitment and performance.

Mold-making

• Following successful testing and any necessary adjustments, ZACOE Performance begins the final stage: creating molds for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype is used to produce molds for each component, which are then utilized to manufacture the finished product. This process combines expert craftsmanship with advanced machinery, requiring exceptional precision and skill. The result is a lightweight, stylish carbon fiber kit that enhances both the performance and aesthetics of the vehicle.
