RYFT Carbon Fiber Front Hood for McLaren 750S

RYFT’s carbon fiber front hood for McLaren 750S is one of the three pieces RYFT points to first when it describes its 750S program, alongside the side skirts and rear diffuser. The hood is the largest single panel in the driver’s view, so the weave is in sight on every drive. We would recommend it to the owner committing to a full RYFT front end; on its own, against a painted bumper, it is a bold statement that some will prefer to build up to.

Development

The hood started on the 720S, where RYFT catalogues it as a race hood in 2×2 twill carbon for both Coupe and Spider. McLaren left the 750S looking much like the 720S overall while reworking the bumper below the hood with sharper lines and narrower eye sockets, and RYFT reissued the panel under a 750S part number. It keeps the lineage of RYFT’s first carbon program, which RYFT says took its cues from the McLaren P1.
