3D Scanning

• Upon completing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and conducts a 3D scanning process to create an exceptionally precise digital model. This involves using advanced scanning technology to capture the exact contours and dimensions of the car’s exterior. The resulting digital model forms the foundation of the design process, which demands meticulous precision to accommodate ZACOE’s sophisticated mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. Typically, this scanning stage requires over 40 hours per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• Once the digital scan is complete, ZACOE Performance’s designers collaborate in brainstorming sessions, sketching initial concepts by hand. These sketches are then transferred into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the team refines and brings their boldest ideas to life in a digital format. After the draft design is finalized, the team performs preliminary aerodynamic testing using specialized software. Leveraging advanced technology allows ZACOE to achieve exceptional quality, innovation, and elegance.

Prototyping

• With the digital design approved, ZACOE Performance fabricates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. Utilizing equipment such as 3D printers and CNC machines, each component of the kit is meticulously produced. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the vehicle to ensure it fits perfectly and performs as expected.

Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and any required adjustments, ZACOE Performance proceeds to the mold-making stage for the carbon fiber kit. This step involves using the prototype to create precise molds for each component, which are then utilized to manufacture the final product. Combining skilled craftsmanship with specialized machinery, the mold-making process demands a high degree of precision. The result is a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit designed to elevate both the car’s performance and its aesthetics.
