3D Scanning

• Upon finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create an exact digital replica. Using a specialized scanner, the car’s exterior shape and dimensions are captured with precision. This digital model serves as the foundation for the design process. Given ZACOE Performance’s focus on intricate inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, achieving accuracy at this stage is critical. The scanning process for each car typically exceeds 40 hours.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers collaborate in brainstorming sessions, beginning with hand-drawn sketches to outline concepts. These sketches are then converted into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where bold ideas take shape digitally. Once the draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is conducted using advanced software tools. This integration of technology enables ZACOE Performance to deliver exceptional sophistication, quality, and innovation.

Prototyping

• Following the design and testing phase, ZACOE Performance transitions to creating a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. This step involves advanced equipment like 3D printers or CNC machines to craft each component. The prototype is then assembled and fitted to the car, ensuring proper alignment and performance.

Mold-making

• After testing the prototype and making any necessary refinements, ZACOE Performance embarks on the final step: creating the molds for the carbon fiber kit.
