ZACOE Carbon Fiber Body Kit for F142MFL Ferrari F8 Tributo

In 2019, Ferrari introduced the F8 Tributo as a tribute to its legendary V8 heritage and a bridge to the future of Ferrari design. ZACOE Performance builds on this legacy with enhancements that seamlessly integrate with Ferrari’s original vision. At the front, a three-piece lip and an F35-inspired air splitter enhance aggression and aerodynamics, culminating in a striking trunk lid insert. The side profile features two-piece side skirts that improve stability and precision at high speeds, while the rear boasts a swan-neck-style wing and sophisticated rear flaps, optimizing aerodynamics and stabilizing the car during intense driving. Drawing inspiration from Ferrari’s design language, ZACOE’s carbon fiber upgrades interact harmoniously with the original body lines, offering a perfect fusion of engineering and artistry that elevates both aesthetics and performance.

3D Scanning

Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and conducts a 3D scanning process to create an accurate digital model. This involves using specialized scanners to capture the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior. The resulting digital model forms the foundation for the design process, where ZACOE Performance integrates advanced mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, requiring exceptional precision. Completing the scanning process typically takes over 40 hours per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers gather for brainstorming sessions and begin developing concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These initial ideas are then brought to life in computer-aided design (CAD) software, allowing the team to refine their bold visions in a digital format. Once a draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is performed using specialized software. Advanced technology is instrumental in achieving ZACOE Performance’s hallmark of sophistication, exceptional quality, and innovative results.

Prototyping

Following the digital design and testing phase, ZACOE Performance creates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. This process involves advanced equipment like 3D printers or CNC machines to craft each component. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the car to ensure proper fitment and desired performance.

Mold-making

After testing and final adjustments, ZACOE Performance proceeds to mold production for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype serves as the basis for creating molds for each component, which are then used to manufacture the final product. The mold-making process combines skilled manual craftsmanship with specialized machinery, requiring a high level of precision. The final result is a lightweight, sleek carbon fiber kit that enhances both the car’s aesthetics and performance.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario.
