3D Scanning

• Upon finalizing the model and concept, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and performs 3D scanning to create an accurate digital model. This process uses a specialized scanner to capture the car’s precise exterior dimensions and shape. The resulting digital model forms the foundation for the design process, where precision is critical to incorporate sophisticated mechanisms and bolt-on fitment. Scanning each car typically requires over 40 hours of meticulous work.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digital model complete, ZACOE Performance’s designers gather for brainstorming sessions, starting with hand-drawn sketches to outline initial concepts. These sketches are then transformed into computer-aided design (CAD) software, where the team refines their bold ideas in a digital environment. Once the draft design is ready, aerodynamic testing is conducted using specialized software, with advanced technology playing a vital role in achieving high-quality, innovative results.

Prototyping

• After completing the digital design and testing, ZACOE Performance creates a physical prototype using ABS materials. Specialized equipment like 3D printers or CNC machines is employed to fabricate each component, which is then assembled and tested on the car to ensure precise fitment and optimal performance.

Mold-making

• Following successful prototype testing and adjustments, ZACOE Performance produces the final mold for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype serves as the basis for creating molds for each component, combining skilled craftsmanship with specialized machinery to ensure precision. The final result is a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit that enhances the car’s performance and aesthetic appeal.
