Valvetronic

• This capability is realized by employing vacuum-actuated valve flaps, which modulate between being open and closed, responding to the nuances of driving conditions and the inputs from the driver. At lower engine velocities or while cruising, the valves maintain a closed position, emanating a fuller, more resonant exhaust note. However, when the throttle is fully deployed, the valves disclose, freeing the entire symphonic spectrum of the engine.

Engineering

• The creation of Capristo exhaust systems involves meticulous craftsmanship and the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies like 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital Modeling, and CNC machining, all taking place in their respected German workshop. Each part is carefully fashioned from premium T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and is hand-polished to achieve a luminous appearance. After comprehensive evaluation, this specific alloy was preferred for its exceptional acoustic transparency, benefits in weight reduction, and enduring robustness—characteristics often linked with the Inconel components found in prestigious Formula 1 events.

CES-3 Control Module

• The backpressure-controlled exhaust valves are able to be customized by the user via the included CES-3 Control Module. This programmable control unit comes with three operating modes that can be navigated through a remote key fob.
  • Cruise: Exhaust valves open at higher RPMs
  • Sport: Exhaust valves open at lower RPMs and hard acceleration
  • Open: Exhaust Valves Remain Open
• The Cruise and Sport modes in the vehicle can be individually adjusted to set distinct backpressure boundaries, which, in turn, decide the activation instances of the exhaust valves. This grants precise control over the exhaust system, allowing alterations to suit the driver’s unique preferences and endurance.
