The Capristo 991.2 Carrera valved exhaust replaces a factory system that, even with PSE, keeps the turbocharged 9A2 flat-six more restrained than a lot of 991.2 owners want on a car this capable. Capristo manufactures the entire system at its own factory in Sundern, Germany using 3D laser-scanning, CAD design, digital prototyping, and CNC bending and milling, then manually TIG welds every joint and hand polishes the finished piece to a mirror finish. Construction is highest-grade T309 stainless steel, and the design carries a patented reinforcement aimed at eliminating resonance rather than relocating it further down the system. The system includes race downpipes that open up flow ahead of the valved rear section, and valve control runs through the included Capristo CES-3 programmable exhaust remote kit for driver-controlled valve position. On cars equipped with factory PSE, the PSE button is directly compatible with the Capristo valves, so owners can run the valves off the factory switch as well. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
