The NOVITEC 849 Testarossa NF8 is a forged monoblock wheel set developed with Vossen. You can choose from Vossen’s standard solid colors or transparent finishes over hand-polished or brushed surfaces.

NOVITEC NF8 Directional Forged Wheel Set for F173M Ferrari 849 Testarossa
The 849 Testarossa comes from the factory on 20-inch wheels at both ends. The NOVITEC 849 Testarossa NF8 set changes the stance with a staggered 20×9.5 front and 21×12 rear. The larger, wider rear wheel fills the rear arches more and makes the car look lower and more planted. NOVITEC developed the NF8 with Vossen. Each wheel is forged monoblock, and the spokes are directional, meaning they sweep in the direction the wheel turns instead of being mirrored side to side. The design is specific to each side of the car, so the spokes always appear to move forward even when the car is parked. It’s also the reason the 849 Testarossa NF8 is sized and engineered for this car specifically, rather than being a universal fitment adapted to it.
Forged Construction
The 849 Testarossa is a heavy car for its class because it carries a hybrid battery and three electric motors in addition to the V8. That makes unsprung and rotating mass more important. A forged NF8 is stronger for its weight than a cast wheel of the same size, so the suspension spends less effort controlling the wheel and more effort keeping the tire on the road. You feel it in quicker turn-in, more stable mid-corner behavior over uneven pavement, and less inertia for the electric motors and V8 to overcome when accelerating and braking.

Transparent: After Vossen’s hand polishing and or brushing process, each wheel receives a clear powder coat to protect the surface and keep the machining and finish work looking sharp. The clear coat is available in multiple tones, letting you fine-tune the final look without changing the underlying finish.
What does “directional” mean on the 849 Testarossa NF8? The spokes are angled in the direction the wheel rotates instead of being symmetrical. That means the left and right wheels are mirror images of each other and have to stay on their own side of the car. The result is a look that seems to be moving forward even when the car is parked.
How do the NF8 sizes compare to the factory wheels? The 849 Testarossa comes on 20-inch wheels front and rear. The NF8 keeps a 20-inch front at 9.5 inches wide and moves the rear up to 21×12. The larger rear diameter fills the arch more and gives the car a more staggered stance.
Will I need new tires? For the rear, yes. Moving from a 20-inch to a 21-inch rear wheel requires a 21-inch tire. Front tire needs depend on your current tire size.
What’s the difference between standard and transparent finishes? Standard finishes are solid colors in gloss, matte, satin, or textured surfaces, and they cover the metal completely. Transparent finishes start with a hand-polished or brushed wheel, then add a tinted clear powder coat, so the machined surface shows through the color.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
