NOVITEC NF10 Centerlock-Look Forged Wheel Set for F173M Ferrari 849 Testarossa

Centerlock wheels came from racing, where a single large nut let pit crews change a wheel in seconds. On a road car, they’re mostly about how they look. The NOVITEC 849 Testarossa NF10 gives you that look without changing anything about how the wheel mounts. A black center cover with a castellated outer ring imitates a centerlock nut and carries a red NOVITEC logo. It hides the five wheel bolts, so the hub looks like it’s held by one nut. Underneath, the wheel still bolts on with conventional wheel bolts, so there’s no special hub, torque spec, or tooling to deal with. The face uses five pairs of split spokes that run to the rim edge, which keeps the attention on the center cover. NOVITEC developed the NF10 with Vossen, forges each wheel as a monoblock, and offers it in a staggered 20×9.5 front and 21×12 rear.

Forged Construction

Because forged aluminum is stronger than cast aluminum, NOVITEC can make the NF10’s spokes thinner without losing strength. That reduces weight at each corner of a car that already carries a hybrid battery and three electric motors. With less unsprung mass, the factory dampers control the wheel more easily, the steering responds more cleanly to the road surface, and the car’s 1,050 combined horsepower has less rotating mass to accelerate.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
