3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and conducts a 3D scanning process to create an accurate digital model. This involves using specialized scanners to capture the precise shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior. The resulting digital model forms the foundation for the design process, where ZACOE Performance integrates advanced mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, requiring exceptional precision. Completing the scanning process typically takes over 40 hours per vehicle.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digital model in hand, ZACOE Performance designers gather for brainstorming sessions and begin developing concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These initial ideas are then brought to life in computer-aided design (CAD) software, allowing the team to refine their bold visions in a digital format. Once a draft design is complete, basic aerodynamic testing is performed using specialized software. Advanced technology is instrumental in achieving ZACOE Performance’s hallmark of sophistication, exceptional quality, and innovative results.

Prototyping

• Following the digital design and testing phase, ZACOE Performance creates a physical prototype of the kit using ABS. This process involves advanced equipment like 3D printers or CNC machines to craft each component. The prototype is then assembled and tested on the car to ensure proper fitment and desired performance.

Mold-making

• After testing and final adjustments, ZACOE Performance proceeds to mold production for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype serves as the basis for creating molds for each component, which are then used to manufacture the final product. The mold-making process combines skilled manual craftsmanship with specialized machinery, requiring a high level of precision. The final result is a lightweight, sleek carbon fiber kit that enhances both the car’s aesthetics and performance.
