How much power does the VF700 Turbocharger System for 991.2 Carrera S make?

VF Engineering rates the VF700 Turbocharger System for 991.2 Carrera S and 4S at 680 hp and 560 lb-ft, measured on 100 octane fuel on a Mustang AWD 500 dyno. Against the factory 420 hp and 368 lb-ft, that is a gain of 260 hp and 192 lb-ft.

Why is the gain smaller than on the base Carrera?

The Carrera S and 4S leave the factory with 420 hp, compared with 370 hp for the base car, because Porsche fits them with larger turbochargers. The VF700 brings every 991.2 Carrera to the same 680 hp, so the S starts closer to the finish line and gains 260 hp rather than 310.

Does the VF700 suit a Carrera 4S?

Yes. This listing covers the rear drive Carrera S and the all wheel drive Carrera 4S, which share the same 420 hp engine. The extra traction of the 4S makes it easier to put the full VF700 output to the road, especially from a standstill or in wet conditions.

What parts are in the VF700 kit?

The VF700 includes larger direct fit turbochargers, upgraded intercoolers, a carbon fiber intake, a full VF Engineering titanium race exhaust and a custom calibration for the engine and transmission. The parts are developed to work together, which is why VF Engineering sells them as one package.

Who installs the VF700 and can it be returned?

Professional installation by VF Engineering or an authorized VF installer is required, and the turbocharger change on a 991.2 is a substantial job. Turbocharger systems are special order and cannot be returned without written consent from VF, so confirm fitment by VIN with Bulletproof Automotive before you order.

Description

VF Engineering VF700 Twin Turbocharger System for 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera S / 4S

VF Engineering’s VF700 Twin Turbocharger System for 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera S and Carrera 4S raises the 3.0-liter flat-six from its factory 420 hp and 368 lb-ft to 680 hp and 560 lb-ft on VF’s dyno. The Carrera S already runs larger turbochargers than the base car, so the gain here is 260 hp, still enough to put the car well past any 991.2 Turbo S. VF’s package replaces the turbochargers with larger direct-fit units and adds bigger intercoolers, a carbon fiber intake, a titanium race exhaust and a matched engine and transmission calibration, all developed in Anaheim. It is for the S or 4S owner who wants a transformation rather than a tune.

About VF Engineering

VF Engineering designs supercharger and turbocharger systems, titanium exhausts and ECU and TCU calibrations from a 15,000 sq ft facility in Anaheim, Orange County, California, where it has been based for nearly two decades. Every calibration is developed in house on the company’s own Mustang AWD 500 chassis dyno, ECU boards are handled in a dedicated clean room, and new parts start in an R&D room equipped with a rapid prototyper. VF reports that more than 93 percent of its supercharger systems are still running after years of hard use, many on their second or third owner, and its engineers carry the testing discipline of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series into every road calibration.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
