Does the Ventus 1 Aero Package for A90 include a rear wing?

No. The Ventus 1 Aero Package for A90 contains the dual element dive plane kit, the rear diffuser and the anti-buffeting wind deflector kit. Verus Engineering built it to improve the aero balance and efficiency of the Supra without a wing, and a wing joins the range only in the Ventus 3 package.

What do the anti-buffeting wind deflectors do?

They settle the buffeting in the A90 cabin when the windows are rolled down at speed, which Verus Engineering calls a must for the Supra on and off track. Each deflector is 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon with a high-gloss clear and attaches with 3M VHB tape, so nothing is drilled.

Is this kit a sensible first aero upgrade for a Supra that is also driven on the street?

Yes. Verus Engineering describes Ventus 1 as an entry-level kit for enthusiasts who want aerodynamic gains while keeping a fairly stock, OEM-plus look. The carbon parts tape on and the diffuser bolts on with no permanent change, which suits a Supra that splits its time between road and track.

Can I add a front splitter or a wing later?

Yes. Ventus 2 is this kit plus the Verus front splitter, side splitters and rear spats, and Verus Engineering creates Ventus 3 by adding the UCW rear wing to that. Each part is sold on its own, so the splitter can come first and the wing later as the car develops.

Which exhausts work with the Ventus 1 rear diffuser?

Most popular systems do. Verus Engineering lists the factory exhaust plus aFe, Akrapovic, Fi EXHAUST, HKS and Valvetronic Designs systems as compatible. Magnaflow needs slight modification and Remark slight trimming, and the diffuser will not fit alongside Boost Logic, AWE Touring or AWE Track Edition exhausts, so check before ordering.

Description

Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Aero Package for A90 Toyota GR Supra

Verus Engineering’s Ventus 1 Aero Package for A90 Toyota GR Supra is the first step into the Verus aero range for the Mk5, pairing dual element dive planes at the nose with an aluminum rear diffuser so both axles gain grip and the balance stays predictable. Carbon anti-buffeting wind deflectors complete the kit, settling the cabin when the windows are rolled down. Choose it for measurable aero gains with a near-stock, OEM-plus look; owners already set on a front splitter should go straight to Ventus 2, which carries all three parts over.

Design and Materials

The dive planes generate downforce on their own surfaces and help evacuate air from the front fenders, and Verus added the diffuser to balance that front load by cutting rear lift and drag, which raises straight-line and corner speeds. The dive planes and deflectors are 2×2 twill pre-preg carbon, autoclave cured under a high-gloss clear; the diffuser is CNC laser cut 5052 aluminum, press brake bent and powder coated black.

Features

Entry-level aero kit with a safe front-to-rear balance
Better lift-to-drag ratio with added downforce
OEM-plus look that follows the factory body lines
Carbon parts bond on with 3M VHB tape
Diffuser bolts on with no permanent modification

About Verus Engineering

Verus Engineering designs aerodynamic and performance parts in Indianapolis, Indiana. Two engineers founded it in late 2014 as Velox Motorsports and renamed it in 2017 after a trademark dispute; verus is Latin for true or complete. Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
