Will the Turbo Heat Shield Kit for A90 from 2020 fit a 2021 or later Supra?

No. This version is shaped around the two-port exhaust manifold found only on 2020 GR Supra 3.0 cars. From the 2021 model year the B58 carries a six-port manifold, and Verus Engineering makes a separate 6 Port Turbo Heat Shield Kit for those cars. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure which manifold your car has.

Does this heat shield fit the 2.0 Supra?

No. Verus Engineering states the kit works only with 3.0L models, meaning the B58 inline six. The four-cylinder 2.0 Supra uses a different engine, so neither this shield nor the six-port version applies to it. Order this kit for a 2020 GR Supra 3.0.

Is the air oil separator included with this heat shield?

No. The Turbo Heat Shield Kit for A90 contains a main cover, a side cover and the hardware to fit them. Verus Engineering sells a 2020 bundle that adds the Verus AOS together with the machined resonator delete that the AOS requires, for owners planning all three parts at once.

How does a turbo heat shield help with an aftermarket intake?

Heat radiating from the turbo and exhaust manifold can warm the air on its way into the engine, which is what heat soak means. Verus Engineering covers that area with 2.0mm stainless to keep the heat around the turbo, and calls the shield a strong addition for any 2020 Supra running an aftermarket intake.

What is the 2020 Supra heat shield made from?

Both covers are 2.0mm thick 304 stainless steel sheet, CNC laser cut and formed on a CNC press brake, then coated in black high-temperature Cerakote. Verus Engineering supplies stainless hardware for a simple bolt-on install, with written and video instructions to follow.

Description

Verus Engineering Turbo Heat Shield Kit for A90 Toyota GR Supra (2020)

Verus Engineering’s Turbo Heat Shield Kit for A90 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 cars from the 2020 model year covers the turbo and two-port exhaust manifold of the early B58 in 2.0mm 304 stainless steel, holding heat around the turbo instead of letting it spread through the bay. It earns its place on a 2020 car with an aftermarket intake, where heat soak is the problem to solve; with the factory intake, expect better heat rejection and a cleaner looking bay.

Construction and Fit

Verus shaped the main and side covers from in-house scan data for an OE-like fit, and the 304 stainless passes through a CNC laser and a CNC press brake before its black high-temperature Cerakote coat. Clearing out the factory resonator and heat shields frees room and tidies the bay, Verus notes, so the shield sits well beside its air oil separator.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
