Which Heat Shield and AOS Bundle fits my Supra?

This version of the Heat Shield and AOS Bundle fits only the 2020 GR Supra 3.0, the one year with a two-port exhaust manifold. Cars from 2021 onward have six ports, so Verus Engineering builds them their own bundle around a differently shaped shield. Neither bundle fits the four-cylinder 2.0 Supra.

Do I need to buy the resonator delete separately?

No. Verus Engineering includes its billet 6061-T6 resonator delete in the bundle, because the air oil separator needs the space the factory resonator occupies. The resonator delete also covers the opening left behind once the factory resonator comes out, which gives the finished engine bay a cleaner, more complete look.

What does the turbo heat shield do?

It covers the turbo manifold area of the B58 to improve heat rejection, reduce heat soak and tidy the look of the bay. Verus Engineering forms it from 2.0mm 304 stainless sheet, CNC laser cut and press brake formed, then coats it in black high-temperature Cerakote and fits it with stainless hardware.

Why fit an air oil separator to a B58?

Crankcase blow-by carries oil vapor into the intake, where it lowers effective octane and raises the risk of knock, power loss and carbon deposits on the intake valves. The Verus Engineering AOS strips that oil out with four 5-micron coalescent filters, baffling and stainless mesh, and large molded hoses keep pressure drop low.

Which aftermarket intakes work with the AOS in this bundle?

Several do, according to Verus Engineering. AMS and Eventuri intakes fit as they are, the MST Performance intake fits once moved forward with its bracket resting on rubber padding, and the HKS open filter intake with heat shield also works. Injen and Mishimoto need a modified bracket, and neither the Armaspeed nor the full HKS cold air intake kit will fit.

Description

Verus Engineering Turbo Heat Shield and AOS Bundle for A90 Toyota GR Supra (2020)

Verus Engineering’s Turbo Heat Shield and AOS Bundle for the 2020 A90 Toyota GR Supra collects three parts that share one corner of the B58 engine bay: a turbo heat shield cut for the two-port exhaust manifold of 2020 cars, the Verus air oil separator and the billet resonator delete it needs. Model year decides the choice, since 2021 and later Supras carry a six-port manifold. For a 2020 3.0 owner already planning the AOS, it handles heat soak and crankcase oil in one job.

Heat Shield and AOS

The shield is 2.0mm 304 stainless sheet, CNC laser cut, press brake formed and finished in black high-temperature Cerakote, shaped from Verus scan data for an OE-like fit over the turbo manifold area, where it rejects heat and cuts heat soak. The separator traps oil from the crankcase gases with four 5-micron coalescent filters, baffling and stainless mesh before it can reach the intake and lower octane, and its 6061-T6 body is anodized in the color you choose.

Features

Shield cut for the 2020 two-port manifold

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
