The AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust for the DE5 Acura Integra Type S is a full 3″ catback system handcrafted from 3″ CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065″ wall T304L stainless steel, featuring an integrated front pipe with a custom flange and gasket that maintains a true 3″ diameter from inlet to outlet while mating cleanly to the factory interface. The rear 180 Technology resonator is replaced with a straight section for a raw, unfiltered tone, and the system delivers dyno-proven gains of 4hp and 6ft-lb of torque at the wheels on a stock downpipe. The install is straightforward with no motor mount removal required and generous clearances throughout, finishing with a stamped stainless steel trident merge and triple 4.5″ double-walled slash-cut chrome silver tips.

Track Edition Exhaust

• The Track Edition shares the same integrated front pipe, robust midpipe resonator, and precision engineering as the Touring Edition, but replaces the rear 180 Technology resonator with a straight section for a rawer, more aggressive tone. It gets loud through mid-range acceleration, deceleration, and cruising, and paired with a downpipe, it gets louder still. It’s built for drivers who want the exhaust unfiltered, but it may be more than some are ready for, so consider that before committing.

Front Pipes

• The package features a full 3” front pipe with a custom flange and gasket, maintaining a consistent diameter from inlet to outlet. This integrated front pipe is compatible with both factory and aftermarket downpipes.

Exhaust Tips

• Each exhaust system includes three 4.5” double-walled, slash-cut tips in either chrome silver or diamond black, each stamped with the AWE logo. The tips can be individually adjusted, allowing you to set their projection into the bumper to your preference.

Nope, It’s Not Valved

• During development, AWE Tuning conducted a detailed study of the factory valve and its operation across various driving conditions. They found that volume changes between modes are minimal, confirming the need for the valve. The valve remains closed only in Comfort mode, opening once a throttle threshold is reached. In Sport and Sport+ modes, it stays open, with Sport+ adding ECU-controlled burbles. On the stock system, exhaust flows through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to reduce cabin volume and minimize drone, and through the center when the valve opens.

• AWE Tuning has designed the system so switching between Track and Touring Editions is simple, allowing cabin volume to be adjusted later if desired.
