Are the APR Fuel Rail Covers for C7 sold as a pair?

Yes. The Fuel Rail Covers for C7 Stingray come as a left and right pair, one for each cylinder bank of the 6.2L LT1 V8. Both sides are molded from the same pre-preg carbon and finished to match, so they read as a set when the hood is open.

Do they fit the C7 Z06 or ZR1?

No. These covers are shaped for the LT1 in the C7 Stingray. The Z06 and ZR1 run supercharged engines with a different layout on top, so the covers will not sit correctly on those cars. Grand Sport owners should check fitment with the Bulletproof Automotive team before ordering.

Can they be combined with a carbon plenum cover?

Yes. APR builds a matching carbon plenum cover for the LT1, and the fuel rail covers and plenum cover together form the APR engine cover package. Buying the covers on their own suits an owner who wants carbon on the rails first and the plenum later.

What are the fuel rail covers made from?

Pre-preg carbon fiber. APR vacuum-bags each cover and cures it in an autoclave at high temperature, which gives a dense, even laminate with no resin pooling. Each one is then sprayed with a UV-stable production clear coat and hand-polished to a gloss finish.

Will the covers add power?

No. They are an appearance upgrade for the LT1 engine bay and do not change airflow, fuel delivery or output. Their job is to replace the plain look of the rail area with carbon that matches the rest of a dressed C7 engine bay.

Description

APR Performance Carbon Fuel Rail Covers for C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

APR Performance’s carbon Fuel Rail Covers for C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray run along both cylinder banks of the 6.2L LT1, framing the engine in molded pre-preg carbon fiber on each side of the intake. APR cures each cover in an autoclave under vacuum, sprays it with a UV-stable production clear coat and polishes it by hand, so the pair arrives with a deep, even gloss. They are purely cosmetic; for the owner who shows the car with the hood up, they are the simplest way to bring carbon into the C7 engine bay, alone or alongside APR’s plenum cover.

A Matched Pair

APR molds the covers to the factory dimensions of the LT1 rail covers, using pre-preg carbon whose resin content is set before layup. That control over the laminate is what lets two separate parts match each other in shape and finish once they are installed side by side.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
