Are these bolt-on fenders?

No. The manufacturer states that drilling is required and that all fitting is done to suit the individual car, so expect test fitting and adjustment by a body shop before paint. Painting is not included. The fenders are designed to work with the factory front bumper, which keeps the job simpler than a full wide body kit.

Are the Front Wide Fenders for EG6 intended for US-market Civics?

No. The Front Wide Fenders for EG6 cars are designed for the Japanese-market EG6 Civic SiR with the B16A engine and may not fit a US-market EG Civic body. Owners of US cars should confirm their chassis details with Bulletproof Automotive before ordering, especially since fitting already involves custom adjustment.

How much extra width do they add?

Approximately 15mm per side, about 30mm across the front of the car. That makes room for a wider front track or slightly wider tires. The figure is approximate, so measure your wheel and tire package and check clearance carefully during the test fitting before paint.

What color are the fenders supplied in?

The manufacturer supplies them in FRP with a white gelcoat finish. Gelcoat is a base for paint rather than a final color, so plan on having the fenders prepared and painted to match the car once test fitting and any adjustment are complete. Paint is not included with the pair.

Yes. You receive one left fender and one right fender, which covers a single car. Each fender has its own rear duct that draws turbulent air out of the wheel well, and both are shaped to keep the original EG6 body line so the car looks factory rather than flared.

Description

J’s Racing Front Wide Fenders for EG6 Honda Civic

J’s Racing’s Front Wide Fenders for EG6 Civic SiR hatchbacks give room for a wider front track or wider tires while keeping the clean lines of the original car. Each FRP fender sits about 15mm further out per side than stock, it is designed to work with the factory front bumper, and a duct at its trailing edge pulls turbulent air out of the wheel well to help reduce drag. The Osaka company has built parts only for Hondas since 1989 and pitches these for both street and circuit use. They suit an EG6 moving to wider wheels or more aggressive offsets; on stock wheels they are mainly a styling change.

Tips

Budget time for installation. J’s Racing states that holes must be drilled during fitting and that every fender is fitted to the individual car, so a body shop should test fit, adjust and only then paint. The fenders follow the factory body line rather than flaring outward, so the result looks close to a factory-built wide car once painted.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
