Does the Ventus 1 Aero Package for 718 work with the factory exhaust?

No. The rear diffuser panels in the Ventus 1 Aero Package for 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 fill the space left once the large factory mufflers are removed, and Verus Engineering lists them as not compatible with the OEM mufflers. An aftermarket exhaust is needed first; the dive planes on their own work with any exhaust.

Will the Ventus 1 package fit a 718 GT4 RS?

No. Verus Engineering states that its dual element dive planes for the 718 are not compatible with the GT4 RS, so the package as sold suits the 718 GT4 only. The rear diffuser panel kit on its own is listed for both the GT4 and the GT4 RS, and can be bought separately for an RS on an aftermarket exhaust.

What does each part of Ventus 1 do?

The dual element dive planes add downforce at the front, both from the elements themselves and by improving how air leaves the front fenders. The rear diffuser panels contain the vortices that roll off the rear wheels and fill the gaps around the factory center diffuser, so it works with clean airflow. Together they raise downforce at a low drag cost.

How does Ventus 1 compare with Ventus 2 on the 718 GT4?

Ventus 1 is the OEM-plus step, adding downforce safely while keeping the car close to stock in appearance. Ventus 2 brings in the polyweave front splitter and UCW wing, which Verus Engineering says brings a substantial increase in downforce with a small drag penalty and better overall efficiency. Ventus 1 suits an owner taking a first step into aero.

How are the Ventus 1 parts installed?

The dive planes bond to the front bumper with pre-cut 3M VHB tape, positioned by the included templates, and the diffuser panels bolt in on two brackets with stainless hardware as a non-invasive install. Verus Engineering publishes install manuals and videos for both kits and an informative packet for the package as a whole.

Description

Verus Engineering Ventus 1 Aero Package for 718 Porsche Cayman GT4

Verus Engineering’s Ventus 1 Aero Package for 718 Porsche Cayman GT4 is the entry point to the Verus aero program for the car, combining its dual element dive planes with its rear diffuser panel kit for a measured gain in downforce that keeps the GT4 looking close to factory. Porsche gave the 718 GT4 sophisticated aero from new, and Verus still found more: the dive planes add load at the nose and help evacuate air from the front fenders, while the panels tidy the rear once the suitcase mufflers are gone. It suits an owner who has already fitted an aftermarket exhaust and wants an OEM-plus step, not a wing.

Dive planes in 1.5mm autoclave-cured 2×2 carbon, gloss or matte automotive clear

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
