Engineered Art

• Vossen expertly combines the accuracy of custom-forged wheels with the cost-effectiveness of cast wheels. With custom CNC machining, they can produce nearly any bolt pattern, center bore, and offset with remarkable precision and efficiency.

Design

• To achieve a perfect fit, Vossen takes over 100 data points from each vehicle, customizing each wheel to match the specific make and model.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• Vossen’s exclusive forging process enables efficient spoke profiles by adding extra material to the wheel face. This technique allows for varying concave profiles, so an 8.5″ wide wheel can achieve the depth of a 12.5″ wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver top-quality finishes, from ceramic polishing to powder coating, maintaining control over every step of the process.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred to ensure a flawless finish. For brushed finishes, the process involves extensive hand-sanding, which can take up to five hours per wheel, to create a consistent texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most labor-intensive and rewarding stage is brushing and polishing, available throughout the Vossen Forged line. Brushed wheels highlight the natural beauty of the forged aluminum, while full ceramic polishing creates a mirror-like finish. Combining both techniques results in a premium look.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand preparation, all wheels go through a seven-stage cleansing process to eliminate impurities before powder coating, ensuring a stronger, more uniform finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s specialized in-house powder coating facility uses advanced equipment and premium powders to create a long-lasting, even finish.
  • Final Inspection: Step 5 – Following powder coating, a final visual inspection ensures the consistency and quality of the finish. A film thickness gauge is used to confirm uniformity before each wheel is cleaned and packed for shipping.

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for durability and a cohesive appearance. Offered in polished or brushed finishes, they feature the signature red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes come at no additional charge, with the option to match the wheel color for an extra fee. For a premium upgrade, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. A floating cap option is also available, including a specific version for Rolls Royce vehicles (requiring a “plate” for the floating caps).
