The Factory

• Vossen is one of the few companies in the world that produces forged wheels entirely in-house. Located in Miami, Florida, their TUV Verified facility is outfitted with advanced equipment to ensure top-tier manufacturing.

Engineered Art

• Vossen combines the accuracy of custom-forged wheels with the affordability of cast wheels. Their custom CNC machining allows for nearly any bolt pattern, center bore, and offset to be produced with excellent precision and efficiency.

Design

• To achieve a perfect fit, Vossen takes over 100 data points from each vehicle, tailoring every wheel specifically for each make and model.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• Vossen’s exclusive forging process adds extra material to the wheel face, allowing for flexible spoke profiles. This technique enables an 8.5″ wide wheel to have the same level of concavity as a much wider 12.5″ wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility uses the latest technology to provide superior finishes, including ceramic polishing and powder coating, while maintaining full control over every step of the production process.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After the wheel is machined, each one is hand-sanded and deburred to ensure a flawless finish. Wheels with a brushed finish go through an intensive hand-sanding process, taking up to five hours per wheel to ensure an even texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – Brushing and polishing is the most labor-intensive stage, but it produces stunning results. These finishing options are available throughout the Vossen Forged range. Brushed finishes enhance the natural beauty of the aluminum grain, while ceramic polishing creates a mirror-like shine. A combination of both results in a premium appearance.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand preparation, each wheel undergoes a seven-stage cleansing process to remove impurities before powder coating, ensuring a stronger and more consistent finish.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s specialized in-house powder coating facility uses advanced machinery and high-quality powders to achieve a durable, uniform finish.
  • Final Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, a final inspection ensures the quality and consistency of the finish. A film thickness gauge is used to check uniformity before the wheels are cleaned and packaged for shipment.

For an upgraded option, Vossen provides Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts, as well as a floating cap option, including a version for Rolls Royce vehicles (requiring a “plate” for the floating caps).
