The Factory

Engineered Art

• Vossen combines the accuracy of custom-forged wheels with the affordability of cast wheels. Using custom CNC machining, they can produce virtually any bolt pattern, center bore, or offset with remarkable precision and efficiency.

Design

• To ensure a perfect fit, Vossen collects over 100 data points from each vehicle, producing wheels that are customized for specific makes and models.

Concave Profile Flexibility

• All Vossen Forged wheels are made using a proprietary forging process that optimizes spoke profiles. This process adds extra material to the wheel face, allowing profiles to range from flat to deep concave, giving even an 8.5” wide wheel the concavity of a 12.5” wide wheel.

Finishing

• Vossen’s in-house finishing facility utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional finishes. From ceramic polishing to powder coating, each step is carefully controlled to ensure the highest quality.
  • Hand Prep: Step 1 – After machining, each wheel is hand-sanded and deburred to perfection. Brushed finish wheels undergo an intensive hand-sanding process that can take up to five hours per wheel to achieve a flawless, consistent texture.
  • Brushing & Polishing: Step 2 – The most time-consuming and rewarding step is brushing and polishing. Available for all Vossen Forged wheels, brushed finishes highlight the natural beauty of forged aluminum grain, while ceramic polishing provides a mirror-like shine, creating a high-end look.
  • Pre-Treatment: Step 3 – After hand prep, the wheels undergo a seven-stage pre-treatment cleaning process to eliminate impurities, strengthening the finish before powder coating.
  • Powder Coating: Step 4 – Vossen’s powder coating facility is specifically designed for wheels, using advanced technology and high-quality powders to produce a durable and uniform finish.
  • Final Visual Inspection: Step 5 – After powder coating, each wheel goes through a final inspection to ensure consistency and quality. A film thickness gauge is used to verify uniformity before the wheels are cleaned and prepared for shipping.

Center Caps

• Vossen’s center caps are designed for durability and a cohesive aesthetic. Available in polished or brushed finishes, they feature the signature red “V” shield as standard. Standard finishes come at no extra charge, with the option to color-match the wheel for an additional fee. For a premium option, Vossen offers Forged Billet Caps with exclusive “V” inserts. Vossen also provides a floating cap option, which can be selected for Rolls Royce vehicles (a “plate” option is required for floating caps).
