Because A.i.R. utilizes the LOMAX system, a patented technology of BRIDE, it enables low positions even when seat space is tight. Even if the center of the steering and seat become offset, the LOWMAX system allows you to zero the offset. (With some car models it may not be zeroed)
A Characteristic Stream Design Inspired By The Flow of Air
A.i.R. realizes extremely fine lines using a 3D design method. Especially the line from the belt hole onto the head rest required several prototypes before creating the final product. Designing for shell production requires a great deal of time and effort, but the intrepidness which is not found in traditional model designs is what makes the new genre full-bucket seat A.i.R. special.
Increased Seat Back Rigidity Through A Semi-Monocoque Hip-Side
The shell of A.i.R.’s hip side part adopts a semi-monocoque structure. The increased shell rigidity of the seatback overall has increased the holding performance when driving. The increased rigidity around the lower back has also improved pedal operability with lateral Gs during high speed cornering.
Head Clearance Secured Even For Tall Drivers
The A.i.R. seat surface is a large convex egg shape. Positioning the seat rail as if to insert this protrusion enables low positioning, ensuring enough head clearance even for tall drivers. This technology is BRIDE’s patented “LOMAX System” technology which realizes a low position even with tight seat spaces.

A.i.R. is a “3D aero device” inspired by the flow of air in a 2-seater car, and a model created with a “new stream design” to produce more intrepidness. By adopting a semi-monocoque structure for the hip side, they have increased the rigidity of the seat back.

The newly designed formula driving position and the adoption of the LOWMAX system secures more ceiling clearance, allowing them to provide seat positions perfect for even tall drivers.
BRIDE produces all its seats and seat rail products, which are closest to the driver and also protect the driver’s body in the case of an accident, domestically in Japan. BRIDE’s seats are ASEA-approved products which have cleared the standards of ASEA, the industry organization whose members comprise motorsports companies and related tuning parts manufacture and sales companies which represent Japan, and are models which conform to vehicle inspections and have cleared rigorous safety benchmarks. The safety benchmark comprises 6 items–“seat back rear surface crash test”, “head restraint forward crash test”, “head restraint static test”, “seat and seat mounting test”, “seat belt mounting test”, and “flame resistance test”–in which a great amount of force is applied to the seats assuming an accident to check whether the seats are damaged and whether they can be maintained for the regulated time, and to confirm the safety of the seats.
Also, BRIDE’s seats are the first seats produced in Japan to be licensed by FIA, and they provide 9 models which can be used in international races. In order to maintain and improve product quality to pass safety benchmarks and strict FIA strength tests, BRIDE conducts thorough management of its manufacturing process.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
