3D Scanning

• Once the model and concept are finalized, ZACOE Performance acquires an OEM car and conducts a 3D scanning process to create the most accurate digital model. Using a specialized scanner, the exact shape and dimensions of the car’s exterior are captured, providing the foundation for the design process. Precision is paramount as ZACOE Performance integrates sophisticated inner mechanisms and bolt-on fitment, with each car requiring over 40 hours for scanning.

Digital Design & Testing

• With the digitally scanned model complete, ZACOE Performance designers hold brainstorming sessions to develop concepts through hand-drawn sketches. These sketches are then digitized using computer-aided design (CAD) software, where designers refine their boldest ideas. After drafting the design, basic aerodynamic testing is performed using advanced software tools. This technological approach ensures the highest levels of sophistication, quality, and innovation.

Prototyping

• Following the design and testing phase, ZACOE Performance crafts a physical prototype of the kit using ABS material. Specialized equipment, such as 3D printers and CNC machines, is used to fabricate each component. The prototype is assembled and tested on the car to verify its fitment and performance.

Mold-making

• After successfully testing the prototype and making any necessary adjustments, ZACOE Performance creates molds for the carbon fiber kit. The prototype serves as the basis for crafting molds for each component, combining skilled manual techniques with specialized machinery. This meticulous process results in a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber kit that enhances both the car’s performance and aesthetic appeal.
