Does the ZACOE Performance 720S Front Lip fit the factory front bumper?

Yes. The 720S Front Lip Set is a bolt-on add-on designed for the factory 720S front bumper. It needs no cutting and no factory panels removed or replaced, so the original bumper stays intact. This makes it different from the hood air-splitter in the same kit, which only fits the ZACOE Performance carbon hood.

Will the front lip scrape on driveways and speed bumps?

A front lip sits lower than the bare bumper, so you lose some front clearance. The 720S already sits low at the nose, so treat steep driveway entries, parking ramps, and tall speed bumps carefully. Approach at an angle and use the nose lift if your car has it.

Why is the front lip split into three pieces?

ZACOE Performance builds the front lip in three sections so the carbon can follow the curve of the 720S front bumper closely from corner to corner. A three-piece layout also makes test fitting and alignment easier during installation, because each section can be set against its part of the bumper before everything is secured.

Can I run the 720S Front Lip without the rest of the Soft Kit?

Yes. This listing is the three-piece front lip set on its own, and it works on an otherwise stock 720S.

What is the 720S Front Lip made from?

ZACOE Performance builds the 720S Front Lip Set from dry carbon fiber. Dry carbon is cured under heat and pressure with very little excess resin, so it comes out stiffer and lighter than the wet-layup carbon common in aftermarket lips. That stiffness helps a part sitting this low keep its shape at speed.

Description

ZACOE Performance Carbon Front Lip Set for P14 McLaren 720S

If you’re only changing one thing on the nose of a 720S, a front lip is usually it. It sits at the bottom edge of the front bumper, where the car meets the road visually, and adding depth there changes the look of the whole front without touching a factory panel. ZACOE Performance’s Carbon Front Lip Set for the McLaren 720S does that with three dry carbon fiber sections that bolt onto the factory bumper and follow its shape from corner to corner. The 720S Front Lip Set pushes the leading edge forward and down a little, giving the car a lower, more planted stance in profile and a sharper line across the front. Nothing gets cut and no factory part gets replaced, so the bumper underneath stays original.

Airflow at the Bumper’s Edge

The lower edge of the bumper is where air splits between going over the car and going under it. ZACOE Performance shaped the 720S Front Lip Set to clean up airflow along that edge, alongside its job of defining the front fascia. It was developed from high-resolution 3D scans of the 720S body, so each section matches the bumper’s curvature and sits tight against it with no visible gaps.

Where It Fits in the Soft Kit

The 720S Front Lip Set is one of the core pieces of the ZACOE Performance 720S Soft Kit. On the nose, it pairs with the carbon hood and hood air-splitter, and further back with the side skirts. Buy it alone and you get the biggest visual change for the least commitment. Add the rest of the kit later and the lines carry through, because every piece was drawn together.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
