Verus Engineering V1X Rear Wing Kit for G82 BMW M4

Verus Engineering’s V1X Rear Wing Kit for G82 BMW M4 is the larger of the two Verus wings for the M4, an element bigger than the UCW that Verus optimized with the ANSYS adjoint solver and refined in wind tunnel testing. Verus states it makes more downforce at 2 degrees angle of attack than the swan neck UCW makes at 12 degrees. It is meant for an M4 that already carries the Verus front splitter and spends regular time on road courses.

Construction

The 2×2 twill pre-preg carbon element is autoclave cured under an automotive high-gloss clear, and the kit adds vented carbon endplates and a Gurney flap. Verus machines the 6061-T6 swan neck uprights and trunk mounts in house on 5-axis CNC machines and builds every V1X wing in the U.S.A.

Verus Engineering designs aerodynamic and performance parts in Indianapolis, Indiana. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
