Which manifold does the DSX 20-Port Complete Fuel System fit?

It is built for the LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8 fitted with the DSX 20-port injector intake manifold. The T1 DSX 20-Port Complete Fuel System leaves out the T1 rail kit because that manifold has its own rail setup.

What does the Dual Pump option add?

It adds a second Injector Dynamics 1,100 lph in-tank pump, the T1 single to dual pump conversion kit and the dual pump conversion harness. T1 Race Development rates two pumps at around 2,700 wheel horsepower on ethanol, against 2,000 for one FPS1100.

Is an external surge tank required?

No. The FPS1100 mounts inside the factory fuel tank on the supplied hanger parts and keeps the factory pump bucket full. T1 Race Development says full power runs can be made safely with as little as a couple of gallons of fuel in the tank.

What ECU control does the pump need?

The tuner must control the PWM duty cycle sent to the pump, which any standalone ECU can do. With a MoTeC M1, the controller also reports voltage, current, flow rate, temperature, duty cycle and run time over CAN for datalogging.

Does the kit modify the factory fuel lines?

No permanent modification is needed. New pre-made lines run between the fuel pump hanger and the factory hard line, which becomes the return. Every line is rated for ethanol, with crimped hose ends, and reflective heat sleeve is fitted where needed.

T1 Race Development’s DSX 20-Port Complete Fuel System for LB724 Lamborghini Huracán and 4S Audi R8 supplies everything that feeds a DSX 20-port injector intake manifold. That manifold arrives with its own injector and rail setup, so T1 leaves rails out and concentrates on the pump and controller in the tank, the wiring, filtration, ethanol sensing and pressure regulation.

Design and Performance

T1 rates the single Injector Dynamics FPS1100 at 2,000 wheel horsepower on ethanol and 3,000 on race gas, and its controller slows the pump when demand is low so the fuel stays cooler. Choose the Dual Pump version for a second 1,100 lph pump with T1’s conversion kit and harness, rated by T1 at around 2,700 wheel horsepower on ethanol. A Fore F2i regulator returns excess fuel through the factory hard lines.

About T1 Race Development
