Supersprint Valved Rear Exhaust for G90 / G99 BMW M5 OPF-Equipped

Supersprint’s Valved Rear Exhaust for G90 / G99 BMW M5 is the right and left rear muffler section of the Supersprint axle-back for the version of the car fitted with the particulate filter, with valves in the rear and twin outlets on each side for a Supersprint tailpipe set. Supersprint registers it only for those OPF-equipped cars, which are the European specification; the USA-model M5 takes the Race Rear Exhaust instead. The valves are the reason to choose it over the Race rear: they give the car a quieter setting for a cold start or a late drive home, which suits an M5 that does daily duty as well as the occasional fast road. It is supplied without tailpipes and fits with the Supersprint Connecting Pipes.

Supersprint has built exhaust systems in Mantova, Italy since 1955, designing and manufacturing in house rather than assembling bought-in parts. Piping is AISI 304 stainless at a nominal 1.5mm wall, mandrel bent and TIG or MIG welded to CNC machined stainless flanges 7mm to 12mm thick; AISI 310S and Inconel come out where thermal load is highest, and catalyst hardware comes from HJS. Every application is developed against a baseline measured on the AWD MAHA dynamometer in Mantova, which is why the catalogue is model specific rather than universal.
