The Spoon Sports Metal Clutch Disc for EG6, EK4 and EK9 Civic and DC2 and DB8 Integra Type R is a direct upgrade for the B-series five-speed, designed so it can run against the factory clutch cover. That compatibility matters on cars of this age: a slipping or worn disc can be replaced with the metal-faced Spoon unit during an ordinary clutch job, without changing the pressure plate. Spoon updated the friction material, the core and the way the facing is secured to its latest specification, and Go Tuning, the US distributor, credits the disc with greater torque capacity and fade resistance in racing conditions. That suits a B16 or B18C car that sees circuit days, autocross or hard back-road driving. The trade is engagement character. A metal facing is less progressive than an organic one, so a car used mostly for commuting is better left on a standard-type disc.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule.
