Moton’s 2-Way Clubsport Coilovers for F8X BMW M3 / M4 Pre-LCI, 3-Bolt Top Mount bring two-way damping to the pre-LCI F80 M3 and F82 M4: rebound on the damper body and compression on a reservoir connected by hose. MOTON splits its F80 M3 and F82 M4 kits by front top mount, and this set is for the 3-bolt pre-LCI cars.

Design and Performance

Separating compression from rebound changes how the pre-LCI M3 or M4 takes a kerb without changing how it recovers. A road car with two track days a year will not use it, and the Moton 1-Way Coilovers cover that brief for less; separate high-speed and low-speed compression is the job of the Moton 3-Way Motorsport Coilovers.
