Moshammer Turbo Side Skirts for 992 Porsche 911 Turbo & Turbo S

Moshammer Turbo Side Skirts take the widest 911 in the range and give it the stance the shape always implied. Engineered in Berlin and made to order in small batches, they reach further out than the skirts fitted to a 992 GT3 RS, which sounds like a boast until you see one from the front three quarter. That extra width expands the working underbody, and a wider underbody generates more downforce along the flanks of the car. Every Moshammer component is tested for reliability and performance before it is released, and this one carries a TUV parts certificate (§19.3). Delivered primed in satin black, ready for your painter and for the small number of Turbo S owners who want the car to look built rather than bought.

Stance and Proportion

The 992 Turbo already stands on a wide track, and the factory sill does a modest job of acknowledging it. These skirts are extra wide by design, wider even than the GT3 RS component, so the lower body finally reads as one continuous width from front arch to rear. The effect is bold without being loud, because the section follows the factory line rather than inventing a new one.

Aerodynamic Function

Widening the sill widens the underbody, and a wider underbody works a larger area of air beneath the car. That is where the additional downforce comes from, along with cleaner flow down the flanks instead of turbulence spilling under the doors. Moshammer tests its components for durability and performance before release, so the aerodynamic intent survives real use rather than living only on a show stand.

The skirts are supplied as a matched pair, primed in satin black and ready for paint or wrap in the finish of your choice. A TUV parts certificate (§19.3) accompanies the part, which tells you the component was documented and assessed to German standards rather than simply moulded and sold. Frequently Asked Questions

Are these really wider than the GT3 RS skirts? Yes. Moshammer designed them wider than the 992 GT3 RS component, which is what gives the Turbo its unusually planted look and expands the underbody further than the factory part does.
Will they fit a Cabriolet? Yes. They suit Porsche 992 Turbo and Turbo S Coupe and Cabriolet models.
Do they arrive painted? No. They are delivered primed in satin black so your painter can match them exactly to the car, whether that means body colour, satin black or a contrast finish.
Does the TUV certificate matter outside Germany? It is not required for registration in the United States, but it is a useful signal. A TUV parts certificate (§19.3) means the part was documented and assessed rather than simply copied, which is not true of most wide body bodywork.
Can I fit the skirts on their own? Yes. They work as a complete statement by themselves, and they were drawn to sit alongside the rest of the Moshammer 992 Turbo aero range if you decide to go further later.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts.
