Which Macan models does the Power Package for 95B Porsche owners fit?

COBB confirms this Power Package for 95B Porsche owners on the 2017 and 2018 base Macan with the PDK transmission only. The Macan S, GTS and Turbo are not on the application list for this package, and neither is any 2019 or later Macan. Those models need a different COBB application.

Is this package legal to use in California?

Yes. COBB lists CARB Executive Order numbers D-660-209 and D-660-249 for this package, which allows sale and use on emissions controlled vehicles in all 50 states when the parts are installed and used as the COBB application guide directs, with no state excluded.

Does the High Flow Filter need oiling or a tune?

No. The filter uses dry media, so no filter oil is required at service time, and COBB states it works with the stock calibration or with the Stage 1 Off The Shelf map. Pairing the two is the point of the package.

What comes in the box?

Two COBB products ship together: the Accessport V3, part AP3-POR-009, and the High Flow Filter, part 7P2110. The Accessport arrives with every COBB performance map for the Macan pre-loaded. The filter replaces the factory element in the stock airbox, so no intake tube is included or needed.

Can the Macan be returned to stock later?

Yes. The Accessport includes an uninstall routine that restores the original factory ECU programming before a dealer visit or a sale, and the factory paper filter can go back into the airbox in a few minutes. Keep the original filter for that day.

Description

COBB Tuning Stage 1 Power Package for 95B Porsche Macan

COBB Tuning’s Stage 1 Power Package for 95B Porsche Macan owners combines two parts: an Accessport V3 handheld that reflashes the engine computer, and a drop-in High Flow Filter for the factory airbox. It is written for the 2017 and 2018 base Macan with PDK, and COBB lists CARB EO numbers D-660-209 and D-660-249, so it stays street legal in every state. For a driver who wants a sharper base Macan without touching the exhaust, it is the sensible first step, and the Accessport carries over to any later build.

Tuning and Support

The heart of the Power Package for 95B Porsche models is the Accessport, which replaces the conservative factory engine calibration with a more assertive COBB map. Every COBB performance map for this Macan comes pre-loaded, and the Stage 1 Off The Shelf map is the one COBB pairs with the filter for the largest gain from minimal modification. A custom Protuner map can sit alongside it.

Filter Construction

COBB builds the High Flow Filter from a proprietary woven cotton and metal mesh media set in a precision molded rubber base, aiming for high airflow with proper filtration. It drops straight into the stock airbox in place of the paper element and runs dry, so routine cleaning never involves filter oil.

Features

Accessport V3 with a full color, higher resolution screen showing six live parameters
Configurable gauge layouts for street, race or dyno use, with multiple bezel colors

High-flow, dry media filter with no filter oil required
Direct factory replacement in the stock airbox

About COBB Tuning

COBB Tuning was founded by Trey Cobb in 1999 in Rockwall, Texas, as a Subaru performance shop in the back of his father’s tire shop, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas. In 2004 COBB introduced the Accessport, a handheld ECU tuning device that flashes COBB’s off-the-shelf maps or a custom tune and doubles as a real-time gauge and datalogger. The range has since grown from Subaru to Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Toyota platforms, with intakes, intercoolers, exhausts and flex fuel kits engineered alongside the tuning, and many COBB parts carry California Air Resources Board Executive Order numbers for use in all 50 states.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
