How many pieces come in the Rear Lower-Arm Bushings for CL7 cars?

The Rear Lower-Arm Bushings for CL7 cars come as a set of eight, four for each side. That covers all four rear lower arms on one car, so a single set is all you need to refresh those positions on both sides at once.

Is a press needed to install them?

Yes. The bushings are a press fit, so the rear lower arms must be removed from the car and the old bushings pressed out before the new ones are pressed in. A suspension shop with a press is the usual place to have the work done.

Should I buy these or the complete bushing set?

Buy these if the rear lower arms are your priority or the rest of the suspension has been refreshed recently. If you want to renew the front arms and the other rear arms as well, the complete 24-piece set covers everything in one order.

Will I notice more vibration?

A little. Because the reinforced material is harder than stock rubber, slightly more vibration makes its way into the cabin. The payoff is a rear end that moves less under load, steadier high-speed stability and more immediate steering response, which is the whole point of the upgrade.

Can these be used on a daily driven car?

Yes. The manufacturer intends its reinforced bushings for every kind of driving, from the street to the circuit. A daily driven Euro R gains a more precise rear end, at the cost of a modest rise in the vibration you feel inside.

Description

J’s Racing Rear Lower-Arm Bushings for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

J’s Racing’s Rear Lower-Arm Bushings for CL7 Accord Euro R cars focus on the rear suspension alone: eight reinforced bushings, four per side, for all four rear lower arms. Made from a harder, longer-lasting compound than the factory rubber, they flex less when the car is loaded up in a corner, so the rear stays planted and the chassis responds faster to the wheel. J’s Racing credits them with better straight-line stability at high speed as well. They make sense when the rear of a high-mileage Euro R feels vague; if you plan to renew every arm, the complete set is better value.

Tips

These bushings are pressed into the arms rather than slipped in by hand, so the rear lower arms have to come off and a press is needed to seat the new parts. Booking the job with a suspension shop that has the right tooling keeps the work straightforward.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
