Do I need a press to install the Complete Bushing Set for CL7 cars?

Yes. Every bushing in the Complete Bushing Set for CL7 cars is press-fitted into its arm, so the arms must come off the car and a hydraulic or shop press is required. A suspension shop can do all of the arms in one visit.

Will the car feel harsher inside?

Slightly. The reinforced bushings are harder than the factory rubber, so a little more vibration reaches the cabin. In return you get less deflection when cornering, steadier tracking at speed and quicker response to steering inputs, which is the reason to fit them.

Which arms does the set cover?

It covers the front upper arms, front lower arms, rear lower arms, the body-side mounts of the rear trailing or leading arms, and the rear upper arms. That totals 24 bushings, enough for every one of those positions on a single car.

How is this different from the rear lower arm kit?

The rear lower arm kit contains only the eight bushings for the rear lower arms. This complete set includes those same positions plus the front upper and lower arms, the rear trailing or leading arm body-side mounts and the rear upper arms, for 24 pieces in all.

Is it suitable for a street car?

Yes. The manufacturer describes reinforced bushings as useful at every level from street to circuit. Expect a firmer, more connected feel along with slightly more vibration in the cabin than stock, so it suits drivers who value precise handling on their daily roads.

Description

J’s Racing Complete Bushing Set for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

J’s Racing’s Complete Bushing Set for CL7 Accord Euro R chassis renews the suspension arm bushings across the whole car in one order: 24 reinforced bushings covering the front upper and lower arms and the rear lower, trailing or leading, and upper arms. The harder, more durable material deforms less under cornering load, which J’s Racing says improves straight-line stability at speed, makes the handling more direct and quickens steering response. For an older Euro R whose original rubber has gone soft, it restores a tight, connected feel in a single job. Owners sensitive to cabin vibration should know the stiffer bushings pass a little more through.

Tips

Each bushing has to be pressed into its arm, so the arms come off the car and a shop press is needed. Doing every arm at the same time keeps the labor to one visit, which is the main reason to buy the complete set rather than individual kits.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
