J’s Racing Rear Compensator Arm for EG6 Honda Civic
Fine-step rear toe control for the EG6 with a turnbuckle body and pillow ball joints that stop bushing judder.
J’s Racing’s Rear Compensator Arm for EG6 Civic SiR chassis targets the arm that supports the rear toe angle, which J’s Racing describes as an important link in the rear suspension. The Osaka Honda specialist converts the arm to pillow ball joints and builds a turnbuckle into its body, so toe can be adjusted in fine steps instead of living with the factory value. Replacing the bushing with a pillow ball also removes judder and limits unwanted alignment change as the suspension moves. It is aimed at owners fine-tuning a circuit or autocross EG6; a daily driver on stock geometry gains little.
J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.
