Can the Front Camber Arms for CL7 cars add positive camber?

No. The Front Camber Arms for CL7 cars adjust in the negative direction only. They are designed to tilt the tops of the front tires inward for more cornering grip, so they are not a fix for a car that needs positive camber correction.

What comes in the box?

You get a right front upper arm, a left front upper arm and eight arm clearance adjustment washers. The washers are used to set the gap between each arm and the body equally on both sides, so the left and right settings match.

How is the camber adjusted?

Adjustment is stepless, so you can choose any setting within the range rather than fixed increments. Set the arm-to-body gap equally on both sides with the supplied washers, then fine-tune the camber and have a full alignment done before driving hard.

Why add negative camber to a CL7?

When the car leans in a corner, the outside front tire rolls onto its edge. Negative camber tilts it the other way at rest, so more of the tread stays on the road under load. The manufacturer says this increases cornering grip and allows detailed sports-driving setups.

Will the steering feel different?

Yes. The arms use pillow ball joints, which the manufacturer says give more direct handling. Expect sharper response to small steering inputs, and plan your camber setting around how much of your driving happens on the street versus the circuit.

Description

J’s Racing Front Camber Arms for CL7 Honda Accord Euro R

J’s Racing’s Front Camber Arms for CL7 Accord Euro R owners, sold by J’s as the Front Negative Upper Arm, replace the factory front upper arms with adjustable units that dial in negative camber. Leaning the top of the front tires inward lets more of the tread work in a corner, which raises front grip and opens up finer setup choices for sports driving. Adjustment is stepless, and the pillow ball joints give a more direct steering feel. They suit a lowered or track-driven Euro R chasing front-end bite; a stock-height car on street tires may not need extra camber at all.

Tips

Adjustment runs in the negative direction only. Use the supplied washers to set the gap between each arm and the body equally on the left and right sides, so both front wheels end up with matching geometry before the car goes for an alignment check.

About J’s Racing

J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
