J’s Racing 3D GT-Wing 1330mm for GE Honda Fit
A wet carbon wing with an eight-step angle range and low-mount stays that keep drag down on the second generation Fit.
J’s Racing’s 3D GT-Wing 1330mm for GE Fits is a wing drawn from scratch for the second generation hatch rather than adapted from another car. The main element is wet carbon, the end plate mount stays are dry carbon and the body stays are aluminum, so the 1330mm span adds presence without much weight. Since June 2021 the wing ships with low-mount stays as standard, which J’s Racing says cut drag compared with the earlier version and remove the loss of top speed that came with it. It suits a GE driven on track or one built around the Type-S look; a stock-bodied commuter will gain little from it.
J’s Racing was established in Osaka in 1989, as VTEC engines and lightweight Civics and Integras were changing what a Honda could do, and it has built parts for Hondas ever since. The company develops engine response, suspension, braking, cooling and aerodynamics together as one system, then proves the parts in time attack, gymkhana, endurance and circuit racing. Its Fit lapped Tsukuba Circuit in 1’00.459, and its naturally aspirated AP1 S2000, the Maou car, became the company’s reference build for the Honda roadster. Every J’s Racing part is designed and tested in Japan, and J’s Racing USA in Carson, California handles distribution in the United States.
