The JCR Valved Superlight Race Exhaust System & Manifold Assembly for the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (with OPF) / Speedster delivers a significant performance boost and extensive customization options, available in Silenced or Non-Silenced configurations to suit either track-focused or more refined driving preferences. It can be specified with optional JCR exhaust tip styles including Titanium Straight, Titanium Megaphone, Titanium Superlight Megaphone, or Inconel Rolled, and finishes such as Polished (inconel), Raw (titanium), or Black Coated. Designed for maximum results, the system offers up to +26hp and +36tq at peak over the OEM exhaust while retaining factory valve control for full compatibility and ease of use.

Light Weight

Through the use of lightweight materials and intelligent design, JCR has significantly reduced the overall weight of the factory GT3 / RS exhaust components. Removing weight provides clear benefits in any performance vehicle; however, the gains are even more pronounced on this platform, where reducing rear-biased weight distribution enhances overall balance and handling. JCR’s most extreme exhaust solution for this platform removes over 21kg from behind the rear axle, delivering measurable performance benefits in its own right.

Direct Replacement

All 991 GT3 RS (OPF) & Speedster Superlight Race Exhaust Systems from JCR are 100% direct replacements for the OEM exhaust system. No additional modifications are required during installation beyond removing the OEM part and replacing it with the JCR equivalent, along with any supplied hardware.

Valved Design

JCR’s Valved version of the center section retains factory valve control via the exhaust button and/or mode switch, allowing the driver to reduce noise when cruising at lower speeds. When the valves open, the sound level matches that of the Non-Silenced system due to the absence of silencing in the valves-open route of the exhaust. All JCR Superlight Race Exhaust Systems feature a tuned merge for improved exhaust scavenging and a smoother, more refined tone. The Valved version maintains the OEM valve switching functionality for a more subtle sound at low speeds and while cruising. Installation simply requires transferring the factory valve motor actuator onto the JCR valve section, ensuring the exhaust functions as per OEM with full control over valve position through the exhaust button and mode switches.

Inconel 625 HJS 200-Cell Race Silencers

The JCR Inconel Race Silencer replaces the restrictive factory setup with high-flow HJS 200-cell silencers, greatly improving flow and delivering enhanced performance. For vehicles without OPF monitoring, JCR Race Silencers in most cases will not trigger a CEL and do not require tuning. In certain situations, a CEL may still occur, typically if poor fuel quality is used or excessive load is applied before the engine and exhaust reach full operating temperature. As a result, JCR does not guarantee that CEL occurrences are entirely eliminated when these parts are installed.

Titanium Race Silencers

With the JCR Titanium Race Silencer, the restrictive factory setup is completely removed to achieve maximum performance and sound.

Inconel Race Exhaust Manifolds

The JCR Inconel Race Exhaust Manifolds are built for maximum performance using lightweight, heat-resistant Inconel 625. They reduce restrictions for quicker throttle response, stronger mid-range torque, and a more aggressive, race-inspired sound. This direct bolt-on upgrade offers substantial weight savings over the OEM system, improving handling by reducing weight over the rear axle.

RSR Sound

At high RPM, JCR’s Superlight Race Exhaust System configurations produce the signature “RSR” sound that is widely recognized and admired.

Testing Procedure

As with all JCR products, each system undergoes extensive testing prior to release. Development for this particular product began in 2021.

Every component in the JCR exhaust range is designed to improve horsepower and torque, with results depending on the chosen combination of parts. The Superlight Race Exhaust Systems can deliver gains of up to 26hp and 36tq, alongside improved engine response and stronger mid-range performance. By optimizing manifold design and removing the highly restrictive factory assembly, JCR not only creates a hard-edged race car sound but also dramatically improves flow, increasing power and reducing temperatures significantly under aggressive road or track driving. Testing has shown that the latest generation naturally aspirated OPF-equipped vehicles tend to lose substantial power on longer runs due to excessive heat build-up. The JCR system addresses this, offering more consistent performance and even greater gains during extended track sessions compared to the OEM exhaust system.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
